CaliberOne Solutions was founded by Amy Wedeking Shannon, after spending over 20 years in the medical device, hospital, digital and healthcare service industries. Amy held roles of increasing responsibility in sales, business development, and finance with Eli Lilly and Guidant Corporation. As the leader of Sales and Marketing at Medical Simulation Corporation (MSC), Amy worked with medical device companies to accelerate sales and marketing objectives through the development and execution of comprehensive, custom education programs. While at MSC, Amy identified and created a new hospital market, never serviced by the simulation industry, focused on areas of high economic and mortality impact. She led the effort to build the team, create the service lines, marketing & sales resources, business model & price structures, operational processes and relationships with industry leaders to establish & substantially expand MSC’s hospital market presence and build additional support among its private investors. She has represented the spectrum of healthcare from population medicine to personalized medicine. As a consultation partner, she has advanced the commercial objectives of her clients, leveraging outside-in thinking, challenging assumptions and aligning client solutions with their customer needs. As a Strengths Champion Certified Coach®, Amy partners with her clients to leverage strengths to advance organizational and personal objectives.
